Getting Monara ready for a world tour
For more than 3 years, we regularly take time off from work to get Monara ready for our World Tour.
An overview:
- installation of 680 Ah gell battery pack
- Victron Quattro 8kVA charger inverter (240V)
- Victron Centaur charger (for seperate charging in 60Hz countries)
- install a Maretron NMEA 2000 monitoring system allowing us to:
- follow our fuel consumption
- monitor various engine temperatures and oil pressure over time
- follow weather evolutions over time
- install alarms on bilges
- monitor tank levels (fuel, water, grey water)
- link NMEA0183 and NMEA2000 networks with a Rosepoint Nemo
- installation of a 50HP bowthruster

- installation of a 200 l/hour Dessalator watermaker
- replacement of 4 Vosper stabilisers with 2 DMS MagnusMaster units
